Year 3

We are almost at the end of Year 3!

This will be the last piece of homework you do as Year 3's, so we are going to reflect on the journey you have been on this year.

Your task is to write a short paragraph reviewing your year. You might want to think about;

  • what you have enjoyed most
  • what you have enjoyed least
  • what you have learnt
  • your achievements and successes
  • what you want to achieve in Year 4.
Don't forget to bring your recorders and music books for the concert on Monday!

NOTE TO PARENTS: Our music teacher, Miss Cahill, has organised a Year 3 music concert on Monday morning (29th June) at 9 o'clock. All parents are welcome to attend.

  2. What I enjoyed the most:

The thing I really enjoyed was when we had food technology. Because I help my mum cook at home. The second thing I enjoyed the most was, when we made our own set of instructions on how to make a sandwich.

    What I have learnt:

In Science I’ve learnt that the sun moves throughout every hour of the day and does a full circle.

    What I enjoyed the least:

The thing I have enjoyed the least was handwriting, because we do it every single day in the morning.
    What I achieved this year:

In maths I have learnt a knew method called the chunking method. This has really helped me solve tricky maths questions in division.

What I want to achieve next year:

Next year I want to work hard because, I want to achieve star of the week.

  3. What I enjoyed the most:

I enjoyed swimming the most because we got to do water fights and play in the pool.

    What I enjoyed the least:

I hate being told off for no reason because I get in trouble when I did not do anything.

    What I learnt:

At school I learnt to never give up what ever happens to you and to always believe in yourself that you can achieve anything, from building a castle, to finding an alien.

    What I achieved:

I achieved being 3rd at tennis festival with the school. I continued to be in green group at maths and reading.

What I want to achieve in year 4:

In year 4, I want to be star of the week and never get told off.

I have learnt that magnet only catch each other only if the red side is beyond the blue side, however it will repel if the blue side is facing the other blue side or the red side is facing the other red side.
My achievements are star of the week, outstanding pupil and in my reward book because i have nearly 10 .
what i want to achieve in year 4 is to reach aa new level in maths especially in addition and substraction and i will work hardly to be star of the week again and again.
