What I learnt:
ReplyDeleteI learnt why shadows get longer.
They get longer because the sun is at a
further angle then your head and
a shorter shadow if the sun is at a closer angle to your head.
My favourite activity:
My favourite activity was making Hydrogen Peroxide
and performing our shadow puppets.
It was very fun!
My favourite presentation:
I liked Tiam’s presentation the best because it was on powerpoint 2013!!! I also liked Daniel’s, so it means he is a youtuber.
In the future, I want to learn about exciting experiments about sound, magnetism and electricity.
I learnt that you can use a stick instead of a sundial, and we were still able to tell the time. This taught me that you can use anything that casts a shadow as a clock.
ReplyDeleteI also learnt that we always have a shadow, even when it’s not sunny, it is still there it’s just that you can’t see it.
My favourite bit was when we did our experiments, they were really cool, everyone put a lot of time into thinking of different experiments. I thought Brajans one was the best, as it looked like a real hurricane and it was very realistic.
In the future, I would like to learn more about voltage and electric currents. I am going to do this with my Dad at home.

ReplyDeleteI have learnt when the sun is right above an object the shadow of the object is shorter, but when the sun is far away from the object the shadow is bigger.

I really liked Maariya's because as soon as she dipped her finger in some fairy and touched the black pepper it flew away from the fairy.
What I want to learn about in the future:
In the future I want to learn about electricity!!!
