I would prefer to live in the Iron Age because the people that lived during this period were much more sophisticated than the previous two periods. The people of the Iron Age had begun to farm vegetables and animals, so they had access to many different types of food. They were also able to use fire, which meant they were able to cook their food in the large iron pots they had made themselves. Furthermore, the Iron Age people had invented soap, so they were able to keep themselves clean, and they decorated their bodies with jewellery. They also had access to much better tools and weapons, which made hunting and fighting much easier.
However, these people had to live alongside the Celts. The Celts were a ferocious group of people who had access to very sophisticated weapons. They enjoyed fighting and this led to many bloody battles with the people of the Iron Age.
I would prefer to live in the Iron Age because the people that lived during this period were much more sophisticated and intelligent than the previous two periods.

They used to eat by the fire and slept on beds made of animal clothes.They used to kill animals with spears and other bunch of materials.They used to cut trees using an axe and carve with a pickaxe.
Their homes were made out of wood,straw, bricks and cow poo.
I want to live in the iron age because I think I will enjoy doing all that stuff.

DeleteI would prefer to live in the stone age because I coud go and hunt for food with my dad. I Also want to live in the stone age because I woud kill MAMOOTHS! I would like to find out why do people not have a chimney? I would also like to live in the Stone Age because it would be fun to hunt for food and help my Daddy to catch fish.
ReplyDeleteI would like to live in the Iron age because it was the best period. They had strong equipment and armour to help them fight the enemies. The hunters weapons were more sophisticated. The houses were made with wood and were very strong. They had an open fire in the middle of the house, which was the heart of the house, it provided warmth and light and they cooked on it. The communities were also more populated.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer to live in the iron age There are several reasons which persuade me to live in this time. One reason is they have lot of strong tools and weapons to hunt and catch prey . Also they can make shapes out of iron like doors , tables bowls. Life would be easier with coins to trade with others and cutlery to cook.

ReplyDeleteI probably would choose the iron age because during that time they have iron to make weapons. The only thing that I think is that they were all very poor. That it is the only thing I don't like about all the ages. I acally feel sorry for them it is acally really sad to me. That's my own apinyon. I am thinking of what it would feel like in the iron age. I imagine I would be poor and sad. I would like to be here better in our times. I love it here and I only wish that they would have what we have right now.
ReplyDeleteI would like to live in the Iron Age because the weapons were much more strong and powerful as they were made of iron. They lived in houses made of wood and they built lots of interesting and useful things,i would love to have built those too.

I would like to live in the Iron Age because it was more advanced, sophisticated and stronger weapons. Furthermore I would feel safer because there were more people to look after me. I wouldn't want to have lived in the Stone Age or Bronze Age because the house structures weren't as advanced.
ReplyDeleteStone Age and Bronze Age are both strong but Iron age is stronger. I prefer Iron Age because they have better civilisation ,they have better food and better resources . They had strong armour , and the hunter's weapons are more sophisticated.In the Iron Age people were able to drag stones like moon stone and sun Stone.They drag the 20 toned and 18 feet stones were dragged by giant logs to roll the gigantic super stones.There has to be approximately 3000 people to drag the stone.
ReplyDeletepeople had to hold it.they used Mammoth skin to make the top of houses to suck water to drink because they made a metal pipe so the Iron Age people can drink.
I would like to be in the iron age because they have proper food like,lamb,pork and honey.They have strong houses they are made out of iron.I wish they had an easy life for them

ReplyDeleteI would like to live in Iron Age because Iron is a really strong for houses.Bronze and stone are not that strong so people will want to live in Iron Age.In Iron Age they had proper food like honey.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer to live in the iron age because iron tools and weapons were better quality than stone and bronze. In addition to this they did not wear animal skin anymore in the iron age, their clothing was more likeable. Finally, the structure of the houses was more secure.

in that period, they started to make jewelery from animal bones and skin. they looked dangerous and rough but actually it were nice.
I prefer to live in the bronze age because it is in the middle of the stone age and the iron age. It is not so poor like Stone age or too violent like the Iron age. The metal used most in this period was bronze, which is a mixture of 90% copper and 10% tin. This metal is a beautiful colour and star of the week badges are bronze, so there would have been lots of pretty things to see in the bronze age.
