Healthy Eating

This week in our Science lessons, we learnt about the different food groups and how much of each food group we should eat in order to have a healthy diet.

This week, your task is to create a menu for a day of healthy meals. Think carefully about how many servings of each food group need to be included in a normal day. You must include a meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner and at least one snack.

  1. For breakfast you would have a whole bowl of cereal and half a bowl of milk.
After one hour you drink a whole cup of milk and eat one or more fruits.
Next when it has been two hours after your fruit and milk, have lunch, you need to have some broccoli, some sweet corn, a bowl of noodles and two fruits or more.
Then after that, in two hours have a whole cup of milk and two fruits or more.
Finally, have dinner, eat one whole bowl of spagheti bolognese, potato, carrots and
parsnips and if you want a desert you can eat some ice-cream.
