  1. The Enchanted Wood
    Author Enid Blyton

This book is about 3 children who move from the city to the country with their parents. One day they decided to explore in the mysterious wood near their house. They met mythical creatures and had lots of exciting adventures. In the woods they discovered a very tall tree, it was so high it disappeared into the clouds. This tree was called the Faraway tree, when you went to the top you would go to many different lands. The children were curious so they went to the top of the tree, and went into Roundabout land. The story tells you about all of the different animals and creatures they met on their adventures in the Enchanted wood.

I liked this book because it was an adventure, and I liked the creatures they met.
I would recommend this book for everyone, it is funny, exciting and magical. It has a lot of different characters that you meet throughout the book.

This book is about a clever boy who wanted revenge on his Grandma. He decides to make a magical potion but he had NO IDEA it would turn his Grandma extremely tall. When his parents come home and see the Grandma his dad has a really good idea that will make him rich.
I like this book because it's funny throughout the story.

    1. Charlie and the chocolate factory.
      By Roald Dhal.
This book is about Charlie, a ten year old boy who comes from a poor family. Charlie won a golden ticket to visit the famous Willy Wonker’s chocolate factory, and has the time of his life. Charlie has a fantastic adventure. As Charlie was the last child left who was good, because he was not naughty. In the end Willy Wonker offers the little boy to stay with him at the factory. Charlie says no, because his family is more important. Willy Wonker allows his family to stay at the factory.
I enjoyed this book as it was exciting because Charlie went on a fantastic adventure. It was funny because of the characters made me laugh. It also made me sad because Willy Wonker didn’t have a mum and he was not close to his dad.
This book can be read by everyone!
I would recommend this book to my friends.

The book is about a little girl called Matilda. She had a mum and dad which were extremely rude to her, but Matilda had magic powers and was clever. George's marvellous medicine is all about a boy call George who wanted to get his revenge on his ugly, nasty grandma. She would sit complaining, grousing, grouching, grumbling or griping about something or the other. This is one of the best books I have ever read. It is for all ages because it is so good and funny. I would recommend it to all my friends.

  10. The legend of spud murphy by " Eoin Colfer ".

this story is about two boys, Marty and William, who were forced by their parents to join the library during the summer holiday. The boys didn't want that because they were scared from Mrs. Murphy, the librarian woman, who use her gas powered spud gun to shoot noisily people at the library. At the begining, the boys were not interested in reading but after few days, they found that reading is very exciting.
One day, the boys had a problem, they wanted to borrow a book from the adventure section while they were not allowed to get off the carpet in the junior section where they must stay. Will sneak stealthily to the adventure section but Mrs. Murphy caught him, and instead of being punished, he was rewarded by a blue adult card. After that the boys and Mrs. Murphy became friends, and they were not scared from her anymore
i liked the book because its exciting, and its about reading which is an intresting thing that i like to do in holidays .and I recommend this book to everyone of my age and older.
