In our second week back after half term, we will be having a Science Week!
Your task for half-term and the week after is to complete your
own Science project at home. It can be anything that you are interested in and
should be something that you have made and can bring in to present to the rest
of the class. You also need to make a large poster (or other form of
presentation) to explain:
· Why did you choose it?
· How does it work?
· Why is it a good Science project?
We will be presenting our projects on Friday 12th
June!
My project is making a chicken sound from a cup. I chose this project because it sounded really interesting to me.it will work if you make a hole at the bottom of a cup. Then if you put any type of string threw the hole you made. After that get a wet tishoo
ReplyDeleterap it around the top and pull it down. I think it is a good project because easy and fun to make.

You will need
- A PVC pipe 2.5 cm wide and 24 inch (60 cm ) long.
Mylar tinsel (1mm)
Hair
Scissors
What to do
Get 6 strands of the Mylar tinsel.
Tie a knot to stick them together about 6 inches (15cm) from the first knot .
Cut the loose bits off.
Charge the PVC pipe by rubbing the pipe on your hair and it will float in the air because of static electricity.
Hold the Mylar tinsel by the knot and drop it on top of the pipe.
Now it should Repel away and it will float like a flying saucer !!!!!!!
